In 2011, Guizhou liquor set off a boom of "one look and three create". Yelang Ancient Wine Industry seized the opportunity and first settled in Renhuai Famous Wine Industrial Park, which was completed and put into production that year.
In 2016, the 11th Guizhou Tourism Industry Development Conference was held in Maotai Town.
Yelang Ancient Wine Industry actively responds to the strategic deployment of Guizhou Provincial Committee and government on the integrated development of wine and tourism, and sets out to cultivate and build the wine and tourism integration project "Yelang Wine Valley" based on Yelang ancient wine brand and supported by Yelang Ancient Wine Industry factory.
With the support and help of the cultural tourism departments of Zunyi City and Renhuai City, Yelang ancient wine industry adheres to the principle of "three self", self-financing without external capital participation, independent development without blind expansion, self-pressure with the goal of gathering the main industry and forming capabilities, and cultivating "Yelang Wine Valley" into a breakthrough for the integrated development of Yelang ancient wine industry. At the end of 2020, the application will be assessed as a national 3A tourist attraction, and in September 2021, "Open Valley" will welcome visitors.
